For over 30 years, Fortune 1,000 companies and leading nonprofit organizations have partnered with us to build and maximize the value of their customer portfolios.This is a remote opportunityThe Retail Media Solution Growth Lead is responsible for originating, responding to, and leading efforts to close sales leads that support the dentsu retail media solutions team. The dentsu retail media solutions teams include clients on the sell-side (RMNs), managed by New Stream Media, and the buy-side (brands and advertisers buying on RMNs and commerce media networks). You will be dually focused on both lines of business and able to flex between as the sales volume fluctuates. You will lead sales efforts that are not only focused on the capabilities in which they serve but also able to cross-sell within and between capabilities within dentsu. You will also lead a team of 6-8. A dynamic personality with a desire to reach decision makers is paramount. You will report to the SVP, Retail Media Network.You Will:Drive business growth for dentsu retail media with new and existing accounts in several ways:Originate and respond to new logo opportunities and own sales pursuit efforts for RFPs across agency brandsWork with the Solutions Lead and agency growth leaders to partner in closing new logo and new to existing sales opportunitiesThe qualification, upsell, and cross-sell within and across our core capabilitiesLead renewal efforts if/when the opportunity needs extra sales expertiseSupport the sales cycle and leading architecture of dentsu retail media solutions team during the sales phase of a dealArchitect and set up complex projects usually involving multiple dentsu solutionsAnalyze customer business goals, objectives, needs, process, and existing infrastructureApply business outcome-based sales principles and demonstrate relevant and transferable company experience in developing sales strategy, opportunity briefs, and sales plans to guide new logo and client solutionEnsure availability of suitable collaterals for the offeringsWork closely with the verticals and operating groups to define and extend the core offeringsUnderstand the prospect and client decision-making process and organizational mapEstablish trusted relationships with CMOs and other client executives to originate new opportunities in new logo and existing accountsSupport new and existing accounts to position our capabilitiesDevelop and maintain an accurate, high-quality pipeline that aligns with our company's sales processCollaborate with finance business partner to create and execute new commercial strategies that achieve higher revenue attainmentQualifications:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree a plus10+ years of consultative sales experienceExperience with closing large, complex sales deals (origination experience a plus)Knowledge and understanding of the retail media landscape as well as the digital media and ad-tech marketplaceExperience architecting complex solutions for large corporationsMust have solid knowledge in Marketing Technology, Data & Analytics, and Digital AgencyMust have deep technical experience in the integration of multiple solutions and the ability to determine scope, duration, and resources required prior to beginning a projectExperience in retail is a must-haveExperience in Financial Services and Travel will be an added advantageStrong ability and desire to prospectHistory of success working within an individual and team environmentMust have a history of quota attainmentDeep general business knowledge and acumenViewed as a thought leader in retail media, sales, and well-connected/networkedAbility to lead through influence over authorityStrong collaboration capabilities are critical to this roleA desire to "change the game" and think outside of the box with enthusiasm for the future of eRetail/Retail Media Networks and building that future with New Stream MediaAdditional Information:The anticipated salary range for this position is $163,000-$263,350. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
