We have a client looking for a Truss Designer located in Knoxville, TNThis is a 6-month contract to direct opportunityRESPONSIBILITIES:
Design of roof and floor trusses; using Mitek programGenerate truss layouts for field use using Mitek programGenerate pricing for estimating purposes.
THIS JOB REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING:
A MINIMUM of five years DESIGN experience in the Truss industryAbility to PROFICIENTLY operate Mitek programComplete knowledge of roof and floor truss designBasic knowledge of the construction industryAbility to read and interpret architectural and structural blueprintsGood written and verbal communication skillsGood math skillsAbility to work as a team playerSelf-motivated with great work ethicAdaptable to new situationsAbility to use Microsoft Windows, Excel and Word
