Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly.What you will be doing:Hydro Flask is seeking an experienced and transformational Creative Director to lead all consumer communication creative direction across various platforms, including brand campaigns, product campaigns, packaging, website, retail, and social media. The Creative Director will oversee the Creative Team within the marketing department and report directly to the VP of Marketing.Develop and execute innovative and compelling creative strategies that align with Hydro Flask's brand vision and objectives.Lead and encourage the Creative Team, encouraging a collaborative and high-performance culture.Oversee the conceptualization and execution of creative assets for brand campaigns, product launches, packaging, website, retail displays, and social media.Ensure cohesive and consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints, improving brand recognition and dedication.Oversee copy development for the brand across all touchpoints, including campaigns, product descriptions, packaging, website, and social media.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to align creative initiatives with business goals.Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual and verbal communication.Apply expertise in social media, video production, and storytelling to build engaging and impactful content that resonates with our target audience.Coordinate the production of high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, website, and retail environments.Craft compelling product narratives that highlight the outstanding features and benefits of Hydro Flask products.Collaborate with shared services on packaging design, graphics, and execution to ensure packaging reflects the brand's identity and meets market standards.Ensure packaging designs are innovative, functional, and align with brand aesthetics and sustainability goals.Mentor and develop the Creative Team, providing guidance, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and innovation.Manage the allocation of creative resources to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.Skills needed to be successful in this role:Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate and defend creative ideasStrong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyUnderstands common design software and usage requirementsPossess a strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing conceptsStrong aesthetic sense at the strategic/conceptualization stages and ability to manage others in implementing the brief through final deliverablesExcellent leadership and communication skills with strong persuasive skills and proven ability to influence cross functional teamsAbility to complete a high volume of high-quality work at a fast paceMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field8+ years of experience in creative direction, preferably within the consumer goods or outdoor lifestyle industryStrong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across various platforms and mediumsExperience working across print, web, and interactive media and demonstrated portfolio of solutionsFamiliarity with and usage of project management software tools (Asana, Basecamp, smartsheet, etc)Consistent track record with go-to-market efforts and launching new productsExperienced knowledge of most current version of abode creative suite (InDesign, illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver)Demonstrated success leading a creative team of in house and external resources to build a compelling brand and marketing campaigns in a digital first environmentConfirmed talent management experience with ability to identify, attract, cultivate, retain and grow top performers (internal and external) in a world-class creative teamAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basisPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of CSS and htmlExperience working globally with regional marketing offices, distributors and Asian production officesBenefits:
