We are seeking an in-house graphic designer to join our team in Dallas. The position sits on the firm’s marketing team which is comprised of graphic designers, marketers, communications professionals, and other creatives.

Our ideal designer is highly collaborative, a strong communicator, an expert in the Adobe Creative Cloud, and comfortable working in a Windows-based environment. This team supports brand, communications both internally and externally, and business development through client and project pursuits. We are looking for a team member who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is especially skilled at creating communication pieces and branded materials within established brand guidelines. The position requires frequent collaboration with marketing team members and studio personnel, therefore good communication with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills is essential.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities Overview:

Working in partnership with clients to produce graphics for print marketing, website, social media, firm communications, campaigns, business development pursuits, and more

Understanding of graphic layout, color theory, and typography in both digital and print media

Storytelling through visuals — the ability to craft raw ideas into compelling messages, and synthesize complex information

Data visualization — ability to take complex information, primarily data and develop custom design solutions to convey the information and tell a compelling story

Supporting the creation of firm branded materials including brochures, longer form books and reports, PowerPoint presentations, posters, invitations and event collateral, social media, web assets, and ads

Creatively interpreting visual identity and brand guidelines for marketing collateral

Organization, time management, and prioritizing assignments to meet deadlines

Producing print-ready files and coordinating with printers and other outside consultants to ensure quality production of branded materials

Brainstorming and collaborating on projects, as well as incorporating feedback

Cultivating a culture that celebrates team, creativity, and continual improvement

QualificationsRequired skills and experience for the position include:

A professional degree in design/visual communications or related field is required.

2-5 years of experience.

Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Experience in PowerPoint.

Working within a strong brand, adhering to brand guidelines and established processes.

Takes a client service-driven and solutions-focused approach to verbal and written communication.

Impeccable time management skills with effective prioritization capabilities.

Has strong organizational and project management skills.

Excels in relationship building and collaboration, functioning as an integrated team member.

Confidence in facilitating conversations with senior studio members, comfortable offering ideas, providing feedback, and presenting work.

Effectively working with partners in-person and virtually across multiple time zones.
