The School of Nursing and Health Studies has an exciting opportunity for a temporary Event Planner to work at the Coral Gables Campus.
Fundraising, Sponsorship and Event PlanningAssist Project Manager in targeting and communicating with appropriate funding sourcesFacilitate and track sponsorship requests and agreementsCoordinate appropriate recognition of industrial supportSubmit final report of financial supportDistribute/mail-out/manage sponsor packages prior to eventLiaise with sponsor to manager recognitionCoordinate billing and collections related to SponsorshipsPost-conference follows up and evaluation of sponsor's feedbackGenerate weekly Sponsorship report for Project Manager and DeanOther Event Management Duties
Work with Project Manager and other team members as needed on miscellaneous event-related tasks related to conference registration, menu planning and coordination, social program planning and implementation, participant materials,
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, with excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously with overlapping deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
