Job Description
A large software and gaming company is looking for a Motion Designer to join a growing team within creatives services and marketing production. The Creative Services Motion Design team aims to create Marketing and in-game assets that inspire others and bring branding to life.
This person will be responsible for animating 2D designs in Adobe After Effects to use as title cards, text cards, lower thirds, and end cards within Marketing videos. There will also be opportunities to create stand alone motion assets and/or to use Unreal Engine to create higher fidelity assets. You will focus on adhering to brand guidelines while making design decisions on motion for each project. Looking for individuals who excel in organization, have exceptional communication abilities, and who are comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. The ideal candidates are passionate about motion design and have a history of working within marketing and post production environments.
In this role you will need
5-10 years of 2D motion design experience
Deep understanding of Post Production workflows, frame rates, and technical specs.
Creativity to bring static branding to life for different campaigns across the Ecosystem
Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, exhibit amazing problem-solving skills daily to find resolutions.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and communicate
blockers as they arise.
Ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company
Personable--develops relationships with internal team members and stakeholders to collaborate effectively.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment to meet deliverables - and even find a more efficient path forward
Flexibility when plans change and designs pivot.

Skills and Requirements
Excellent Reel/Portfolio that showcases motion design work
5-10 years of experience working in a graphics studio environment.
Proficient skill set in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Cinema 4D
Passion for gaming and experience in motion design for annimated short films
Agency Background and/or large animation house
Ability to prioritize work while managing multiple tasks at a time. Complete this work with some oversight while receiving regular instruction and tasks.
Communicate milestone updates and blockers to the team.
Strong collaboration and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
Personable--you can work with peers of various levels and backgrounds. Working knowledge of Unreal Engine is a big plus. null
