Responsibilities
We are looking for candidates with experience in obtaining authorizations for chemotherapy and outpatient surgical procedures. In particular, experience with gastro, urology, and orthopedics.(Required)
This position is responsible for confirming and satisfying all billing requirements by obtaining the appropriate pre-certification/authorization from all necessary payers to avoid payment penalties. Responsible for confirming the financial/insurance information obtained during the registration process to determine that State, Federal and third-party precertification/billing requirements are met to ensure optimal reimbursement for services to be rendered.
