Partner with leadership to prepare Office policy, strategic planning, and operations about land banks. Assist in the management and direction of land bank projects and initiatives. Attend meetings and communicate goals and mission of land bank initiatives to leadership, board, general public, and outside agencies. Lead entry-level managers and supervisors and provide strategic leadership.This position is Actively Recruited and At Will.Minimum Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree or higher.Six (6) years of business, real estate, legal, public administration, or urban planning experience is required.Four (4) years of prior supervisory experience is required.Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance is required.This position is considered a safety-sensitive position. Candidates who are selected to fill safety-sensitive positions must pass a required drug test as part of the pre-employment background check process.Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Knowledge of project management, housing dynamics, and land banks. Ability to work in distressed communities.Ability to maintain current relationships and develop new relationships with non-profit and for-profit community developers, provide leadership to public/private partners, and develop business plans, strategies, and financial analysis skills.Knowledge of real estate transactions. Ability to navigate the acquisition and disposition of real estate properties and the logistical and financial issues arising there from.Ability to travel at a moderate to extensive level to work assignments throughout the County, for which the employee must provide his or her own adequate means of transportation.Ability to provide strategic leadership, insight, support, and direction to support the unit’s mission and goals.Ability to solve complex problems that have long-term impact on the unit and organization.Ability to implement the strategic vision of a department or organization-wide function.Ability to implement plans and objectives and oversee the efficiency and performance of specific processes and operations.Benefits Package
