Harold Washington College is seeking an instructor for Art 114, Appreciation of Photography – explore topics from the history and technical development of photography from its invention to the present. Influence of other arts and sciences. May include darkroom work. Writing assignments, as appropriate to the discipline, are part of the course.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.Qualifications:Experience in classroom teaching.Knowledge of the Brightspace Learning Management System, preferred.Experience with a diverse, multi-lingual student population is desired, as is a commitment to the open access mission of the community college.Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a diverse group of staff and students.WE OFFER:
