We pride ourselves on our creative, collaborative approach and our ability to deliver exceptional results for our diverse clientele.The Role:As a mid-level architect/designer, you'll be involved in all phases of our projects, from conceptual design through construction administration. You'll have the opportunity to work directly with firm leadership to:Guide place-making & ground floor retain design opportunities for mixed-use / commercial developments.Contribute to cutting-edge retail, restaurant, and commercial designs.Work with National Client on regional rollouts.Collaborate with award-winning chefs on unique dining concepts.Participate on conceptual design proposals and make material & finish selections.Have direct contact with Clients and take responsibility for project deliverables.Work with contractors throughout the construction of projects you’ve designed and permitted.What We're Looking For:2-5+ years of experience, with a focus on retail/restaurant/commercial design.Strong technical proficiency in construction documentation.Expertise in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.Exceptional design skills and a compelling portfolio.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Adaptability and eagerness to take on diverse responsibilities.Qualifications:Bachelor's in Architecture or Interior Design (Master's preferred for Architects).Professional license or on track for licensure.Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.Why Join Us:Work on high-profile projects that shape DC's urban, suburban, and surrounding environment.Collaborative, mentorship-focused team culture.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401k, twice annual bonus opportunities, and profit sharing.Support for professional development and licensing.Work-life balance with paid time off and holidays.We're an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse and inclusive team.
