Ansira is looking for a Sr. Director to join the Client Strategy team in a high-visibility, high-stakes, high-impact role that will focus on channel marketing, specifically in the technology and telecommunications sectors. This leader knows how to deliver end-to-end channel and hyper-local marketing solutions for companies that operate in a distributed sales model. The successful candidate will understand the importance of driving B2B and B2C incentives, motivation and loyalty and delivering exceptional brand-to-local customer experiences by activating industry-leading channel services and technology.

As a strategy lead for the technology/telcom sector client portfolio, this role will work collaboratively with the Client Partnership team to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients/client teams, ensuring alignment with their business goals and objectives.What you will do:

Strategic Partnership Development:

Develop and execute comprehensive channel strategies within the tech and telcom verticals to drive business growth.Audit, shape and guide channel programs and spearhead annual planning efforts and program roadmaps.Proactively identify opportunities, issues or problems to ideate and help sell-in solutions.

Market Analysis and Trends:

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the tech and telcom sectors.Conduct thorough market and customer research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the tech and telcom sector.Utilize market insights to refine and optimize channel strategies for maximum impact.Contribute to creation and development of thought leadership content (blog posts, white papers), case studies and award submissions.

Collaboration and Communication:

Create and provide oversight of strategy briefs for projects, programs and campaigns.Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product and delivery teams to align channel strategies with overall business objectives.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and unified approach.Participate in and support business development initiatives (incl. strategy and pitch deck prep and in-person presentations).

Performance Monitoring:

Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of channel programs we are supporting on behalf of our clients.Analyze business results to develop benchmarks and recommend potential new audiences, new methods of targeting and new channel solutions to drive business results.Develop and present written business reviews that demonstrate the impact of current efforts and recommend short and long-term actions.

Background/Experience:

Minimum requirement of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.Proven experience 5+ years in channel strategy development, preferably within the technology and/or telcom sectors, and a vendor or agency.In-depth knowledge of the channel technology industry, including market trends, competitors, and key players.Fundamental understanding of core digital marketing disciplines across media, social and direct marketing channels.Familiarity with CRM, PRM, Co-sell, marketplaces, marketing automation systems and other relevant tools a plus.Naturally inclined to learn, ask questions, understand the why.Self-motivated/self-starter, and ability to work independently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Communicates effectively with team members and clients; ability to clearly articulate (in writing / as presentation) insights, strategic POV and recommendations. Professional demeanor.Proven success as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Ability to work in team environments; works well with individuals with diverse skill sets and backgrounds in remote-first environment.Ability to proceed and execute even in ambiguous situations. Adaptive to change; openness and willingness to embrace new ways of working and thinking.Solid planning, priority setting, and time management skills with experience managing multiple projects concurrently.Superior attention to detail while dealing with complex projects and time-sensitive materials.Experience with workflows, diagrams, and other forms of visual logic delivery.Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.Ability to occasionally travel for client meetings, industry conferences.
