Our team members have expertise spanning disciplines including digital marketing, lead generation, content creation, paid media and ad buying, public relations, customer communications. We employ fully-integrated programs that achieve long-term client goals and vision by earning trust, shaping perception and developing commercial pipeline.Our team provides counsel, strategy, and support across a number of B2B capabilities, including:B2B marketing strategy developmentAudience segmentation and targetingLead nurturing, scoring and managementCreative content developmentThought leadership and editorial storytellingPaid media strategyMarketing operations systems use and integrationPerformance and perceptional analyticsSocial media strategy and engagementSales enablement and supportThe VP is an integral part of the Edelman Business Marketing team and within the broader Edelman network, serving as a direct contact for clients and managing delivery of complex integrated assignments. The ideal candidate has an ability to translate data and research into actionable marketing plans that inform branding and campaign development. Working closely with staff at all levels, they must be a relationship builder, mentor and coach, and must exhibit strong working knowledge of comms and marketing strategies and tactics.Responsibilities include:Contribute to creation of integrated PR, marketing and communications plans that meet B2B client objectives and are reflective of current marketplace challenges and opportunitiesHelp plan and coordinate programming that drives demand by integrating traditional earned media with paid, social and owned media efforts as well as sales outreach/lead generationIdentify challenges within campaign strategy and find creative solutionsServe as primary day-to-day contact for client, managing multiple projects from conception to completion, anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherencePartner closely with Edelman’s paid media team to translate client objectives into paid briefs, develop paid media strategies, analyze campaign performance, etc.Build relationships with clients and colleagues at all levelsConsistently produce high quality internal and external communications contentAdapt seamlessly to evolving client requestsAutonomously and effectively drive and manage projects across workstreams, accounts and business unitsManage end-to-end account financials, from scope alignment and planning to forecasting and identifying growth opportunitiesManage integrated teams aligned with clients’ needs and scopes of work, defining roles and responsibilities as well as managing performance expectationsSupervise junior staff by motivating, coaching and consistently providing feedbackAid in new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparationCommit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals aligned with team and business objectivesChampion quality in how we deliver insights, results and counsel to clientsBasic Qualifications:8+ years of relevant experience in B2B marketing or a related field including digital marketing, lead generation, media buying, advertising or researchBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated competence through certification in various marketing platforms (e.g. LinkedIn and other digital marketing platforms, marketing automation, CRM, etc.)Strong professional character, defined by a proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and by a clear sense of accountability for delivery of client impact and agency business resultsProven experience in working with B2B brands and reaching B2B audiencesKnowledge of key platforms and channels for B2B marketing, including but not limited to social media, paid media, email and others, with emphasis on how they complement each otherUnderstanding of demand generation strategy and tactics, as well as how those tactics shape perception, create preference and drive conversions on the consumer path to purchaseProven understanding of managing LinkedIn advertising campaigns, including familiarity with campaign setup, management and reportingStrong analytical skills, with expertise in analyzing campaign performance metrics and making data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and collaboration abilities for working closely with marketing, sales, and content teamsCreative thinking with experience in crafting engaging ad content tailored to professional audiencesExhibited ability to work on multiple accounts, assignments and/or work streamsDemonstrated ability to impart knowledge to more junior team membersStrong research, writing, editing and client interaction skillsNatural curiosity and willingness to drive flexibly into various roles on client work$95,000 - $150,000 a yearAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
