Join us in celebrating and promoting the products that enrich our everyday experiences and create lasting memories.Job Summary:You are a dynamic communications leader who excels at crafting compelling content, managing public and media relations, and engaging diverse audiences. In this role, you will elevate our communications strategy, make a significant impact, and help lead the organization’s overall content strategy. As an experienced communications professional, the Director will serve as an advisor to the President and CEO on all matters of public relations and strategic communication.Key Duties/Responsibilities:Create and implement comprehensive communications project plans, balancing the big picture with meticulous details.Assess communication metrics, using them as valuable insights to adapt strategies and improve outcomes.Approach tasks with a self-starter attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a 'can do' spirit. Organize and track tasks and deadlines efficiently, collaborating with teammates to ensure project completion.Employ proven communication skills in writing and editing. Skills in graphic design, photography, and video editing are a plus.Utilize the Microsoft Teams platform for chat and video communication to maintain daily team relationships. Thrive in a team environment, embracing feedback and professional growth without constant supervision or reassurance.Apply and share new knowledge to foster team learning and development.Required Skills/Abilities:You have a sixth sense of what needs to be shared and to whom and when.You are a strategic thinker. Managing multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities is second nature to you.You are digitally savvy and creatively inclined, innovating and developing engaging content and campaigns.Day-to-Day:Your daily activities will include managing targeted communications for member executives and other audiences, curating the CEO monthly newsletter, and writing content about the organization. With your quirky sense of humor and stellar work ethic, you will be a valued team member.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a communications role, preferably within a trade association or membership organization.Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and vendors thoughtfully and simultaneously.Ability to work from home, without interference or interruption, with reliable internet & dedicated work surface.
