This leadership role will include maintaining a clear technical product roadmap that improves the customer experience and delivers business outcomes, while helping to drive sales and retention metrics in the short and long term. The Director is responsible for providing oversight to a high performing team of product development resources focused on delivering relevant and leading-edge Voice, Video and Value-Added solutions and services. As a member of the Product Development leadership team, the Director will partner closely with internal Engineering teams as well as the Product Management organization. The Director will also manage and partner with external vendors and coordinate with internal operational groups to ensure optimal customer experiences for Voice, Video and Value-Added products.Responsibilities

Develop and refine the Voice (including UCaaS), Video and Value-added technical product roadmap, aligning it with the company's overall strategic goals.Define the technical product vision, goals, and KPIs to guide product development efforts.Build and lead a high-performing team, that partners with business-oriented product partners, as well as cross functional technical resources, including product managers, sales engineers, engineers, designers, system development (IT) and other relevant roles.Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from idea generation to launch, ensuring products are delivered on time and within budget.Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, marketing, and customer support, to gather relevant input and ensure product-market fit.Prioritize features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on market demand and customer feedback.Manage the post launch product lifecycle, including product performance, fix/patch/enhancement priorities, maintenance, and eventual retirement or replacement.Continuously monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, making data-driven decisions for improvements.Drive automation wherever possible, on all aspects of the product realization and life cycle process (Order thru Cash, and Service Assurance)Ensure that product development activities align with revenue and profitability targets.Effectively communicate the Voice (including UCaaS), Video and Value-added product strategies, updates, and performance metrics to executive leadership, product partners, stakeholders, and the broader organization.Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements relevant to B2B products.Conduct trials based on customer requirements and develop products in collaboration with the entire technology organization.Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and product differentiation.Define and drive opportunities to enhance the customer experience, including evolution of Portals and the use of automation or AI/ML in the delivery and support of their products.Qualifications
