Mechanical Designer

The Maven Group is looking for Mechanical designer for a company in the Raleigh/Durham area. This role will be working on retrofits for current customers.Our client has been in business over 70 years and works with a variety of industries in the United States and around the world manufacturing industrial processing equipment. They offer competitive pay, as well as benefits (health, dental, vision, vacation and sick time, Employee Stock Ownership, and more).This role will be responsible for developing and releasing engineering component and assembly 3D models/drawings, and developing bills of material. Review and check production drawings for accuracy. Coordinate and perform changes generated from reviews. Multitask to meet customer requirements while maintaining production schedule.Qualifications:AS in drafting or equivalent experienceProficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (Solid Works acceptable)3 years experience evaluating and developing mechanical/electromechanical products and systemsExperience with sheet metal, piping, welding, powertrains, refrigeration systems, etc.Experience with engineering projects including warranty and cost reductions and upgrades to current productsPlease reach out to Nicki Traylor with The Maven Group. 919-375-2988, nicki.traylor@themavengroup.com.
