DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST - FINANCIAL INDUSTRY

Position Summary: The Digital Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms, specifically within the financial industry. This role requires a deep understanding of financial services marketing, as well as experience managing PPC campaigns, overseeing website development, and executing CRM programs. The successful candidate must have a background in the financial industry and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring 40 hours per week.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

PPC Campaign Management:

Build, launch, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other digital channels, with a focus on financial services.

Actively test and analyze keywords, bid management, ad copy, and conversion tracking to enhance campaign performance within the financial sector.

Monitor and adjust campaigns to align with approved client budgets and objectives, ensuring compliance with financial industry regulations.

Communicate with clients regarding the strategic direction of PPC initiatives, providing key insights on KPIs, ROI, and overall goals within the financial landscape.

Stay updated on search engine and PPC industry trends, best practices, and certifications, particularly those relevant to the financial sector.

Client Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the financial industry, ensuring a deep understanding of their goals and needs.

Provide regular updates and insights to clients on campaign performance and strategy, emphasizing the nuances of the financial market.

Align digital marketing efforts with client objectives to maximize return on investment, considering the specific challenges and opportunities within the financial industry.

Website Development and Maintenance:

Plan, develop, and execute user experience strategies to support financial campaign initiatives and drive conversions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative Services, IT/QA, Brand Marketing, Sales, and Product Marketing, to implement website enhancements specific to financial services.

Take ownership of web development projects, managing the process from concept through launch, and addressing any post-launch issues that may arise in the financial context.

Partner with the Sr. Manager, Digital Analytics to provide detailed reporting and analysis of website performance, with a focus on financial industry metrics.

CRM Program Management:

Conceptualize, strategize, and execute CRM initiatives tailored to the financial industry, supporting business campaigns.

Work closely with the Content Manager to develop email and SMS/MMS messaging relevant to financial clients.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external agencies to align CRM efforts with broader outreach initiatives in the financial sector.

Create and manage the promotional/communications calendar, proposing new tactics based on data analysis within the financial industry.

Project & Vendor Management:

Lead all digital marketing campaigns from inception through launch, ensuring alignment with financial industry standards and client goals.

Manage development timelines and prioritize efforts in collaboration with financial business partners.

Oversee vendor partners, providing direction and managing project-related processes, including PO creation and invoice processing.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and execute paid performance marketing campaign strategies tailored to the financial industry, aiming to maximize ROAS by increasing ecommerce traffic, conversion, and AOV.

Develop a digital ad buying strategy that aligns with financial client goals, focusing on content, ad copy, and audience targeting.

Create and maintain performance reporting templates, leveraging data to drive strategy and optimize paid marketing efforts within the financial sector.

Forecast monthly and annual revenue for paid marketing efforts on a per-client basis, considering the financial industry’s unique challenges.

Interface with financial clients regularly, providing professional performance reporting summaries.

Manage digital ad platforms, executing campaigns within approved budgets and continuously improving paid performance specific to the financial industry.

Monitor and manage all aspects of paid search advertising campaigns, including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and other platforms, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Conduct ongoing keyword research, write competitive ad copy, and execute creative tests focused on the financial industry.

Audit and refine landing pages to ensure optimal traffic flow and conversions within the financial services sector.

Stay updated on financial client competitors, industry changes, and the latest PPC trends to ensure continued campaign success.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with a focus on financial services marketing.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong background in the financial industry.

Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making in the financial sector.

Proven track record of managing and optimizing digital campaigns within the financial industry.

Excellent communication and client management skills, particularly within financial services.

Proficient in Google Ads, Facebook Ads, CRM platforms, and web analytics tools relevant to financial services.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced financial environment.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of financial services marketing and industry-specific regulations.

Experience with web development and UX/UI design within the financial industry.

Certification in Google Ads, Facebook Blueprint, or related platforms, with a focus on financial services

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
