Role DescriptionGulf Energy Information is looking for an experienced Event & Content Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing strategies for events and content to drive brand awareness, engage target audiences, and achieve marketing objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and promoting in-person events and supporting virtual events, including webcasts and podcasts. From podcasts and whitepapers to international events, your initiatives will foster engagement, propel lead generation, boost event attendance, and nurture customer loyalty.This is a full-time hybrid role located in Houston, TX. Qualified candidates must be available to work onsite at least 1-2 days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute event and content marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and objectives with clear goals and metrics to measure the success of each event.Utilize a variety of marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, SEO, and partnerships, to promote events and engage potential attendees.Manage online branding and communication efforts through the company's website and email marketing campaigns.Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing event collateral, such as flyers, email campaigns, and digital assets.Utilize Cvent and Omeda to manage event registrations, marketing campaigns, and audience engagement.Champion the creation and promotion of diverse content types, including podcasts, whitepapers, and more, positioning our brand as a thought leader in the B2B media space.Analyze event data and attendee feedback to measure ROI and make data-driven improvements.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or related field.Proven experience in event and content marketing, with a track record of driving results.Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), SEO tools, and marketing automation platforms.
