We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Marketing Intern to join our team.
This is an unpaid internship opportunity, ideal for students looking to gain experience in the field and earn school credit.
As a Marketing Intern at PPL Labs, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of organic digital marketing and contribute to real client projects.PPL Labs helps local businesses establish and grow their online presence. SEO, digital marketing, web design - all businesses need it! That's where we come in. To achieve this daily, our Marketing team must possess an unrivaled sense of autonomy, ownership, and dedication to helping each customer onboard to our platforms.Responsibilities:Create visually appealing graphics for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter that align with clients' brand identity, messaging, and tone in order to maintain brand consistency and relevancy.Write engaging and persuasive captions to accompany the graphics on each platform.Manage daily/weekly execution of social media posting for several different platforms and grow social media engagement/following.Creating blog posts to help aid in SEO.Conducting research about digital marketing across industries to learn how to improve SEO and organic ranking.Developing knowledge about the marketing agency industry and the roles and processes involved.Creating campaign reports for client viewing purposes.Ideal Candidates Will Be Undergraduate Students With The Following:Individuals with a keen eye for graphic design and aesthetic styling.Proficient in Canva & Google SuiteStrong collaborator & communicatorAbility to receive school creditCurrent undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising, or related fields.Previous experience or willingness to learn all social media platforms, as well as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, Asana, and our CRM platform.Excitement for a fast-paced, rapidly changing startup environment.Excellent attention to detail.Outstanding professional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to learn and quickly adapt to new organizational systems and processes.Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time.Perks:You will have the chance to learn every day, acquire new skills and perspectives from inside a Marketing Agency.Real client experience by shadowing meetings with management.Flexible scheduleYoung work environmentPrime location in the heart of Boston, 5 minute walk from Downtown Crossing Station, 10 min walk from South StationFriday happy hours (21+)Fully stocked kitchen with snacks, drinks, and coffee!Close-knit teamAbout PPL Labs:Everything digital.
