Overview
Job PurposeResponsible for the design, documentation, and support of the user interface to optimize an engaging user experience for a variety of applications within ICE's Mortgage Servicing division.ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with other teams to gather requirements, creates visualization concepts, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes for clientsCollaborates with back-end development, visual design, product management, and customersDesigns behaviors and functionality for current and future software applications using design specificationsDevelops process flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize a workable UIStudies how users feel about a system, evaluate perceptions of: ease of use, value of the system, utility, efficiency in performing tasks, etc.May assist with new user interface testing and participate in usability reviewsTranslates user needs and business requirements into features and functionality for web/mobile experiencesMay require travel up to 10%Performs other duties as requiredKnowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experienceRequires 7+ years of relevant experienceWorking experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, AdobeXD, etc.PreferredExperience with rapid prototypingKnowledge of relevant standards and best practices for design of modern, data-rich, and responsive applicationsDemonstrated skill of taking in complex data and designing UI/UX innovative data visualization to drive deeper insightsAbility to communicate with non-designers and developers to find the middle groundFamiliar with end-to-end web application development lifecycleRemain current on user interface trends and programming techniques and suggest new tools and methods as necessaryProficient in design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, InDesign, etc.)ScheduleThis role offers work from home flexibility of one day per week.Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
