The Role:

We are seeking a Senior Creative Director with a copywriting background to join our new organization focused on building revenue through software and services. In this pivotal role, you'll help establish an Integrated Services marketing and creative department from the ground up, focused on high-velocity, high-performance content and creative. You’ll also be responsible for leading and growing a small team of copywriters.

We are looking for a creative lead who can translate complex software and technical innovation into simple, compelling narratives that focus on tangible benefits. This leader should be adept at building and leading teams, be comfortable with ambiguity, and be genuinely excited about shaping the future of automotive experiences by defining and refining customer-centric key messages.

The ideal candidate can work seamlessly with digital product and design leads to ensure upstream strategy and UI is pulled through to downstream marketing. They should also have experience developing content for performance marketing – meaning they have a genuine interest and passion in data-based optimization to continue making the work better.

What you'll do…

Spearhead creation and implementation of the Integrated Services brand and sub-brands.

Develop and present comprehensive brand guidelines, focused delivering clear features and benefits with compelling voice and tone.

Collaborate with Integrated Services General Managers to align strategic goals across consumer touchpoints

Define and present brand vision and voice to Integrated Services and Marketing leadership teams.

Build and manage a team to ensure cohesive messaging across CRM, web, and social platforms for software offerings

Drive strategic decision-making on Integrated Services bundle offers and author supporting copy

Craft concise, clear descriptions for complex, novel software features

Partner with Product teams to integrate storytelling into product development

You'll have…

Bachelor’s degree or professional equivalent

10+ years of copywriting experience with a globally recognized brand or agency, specializing in 'always-on' direct response and sales copywriting

5+ years of experience writing for performance marketing teams focused on software.

Outstanding portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking and strong writing abilities

Deep understanding of brand and creative disciplines.

Proven leadership in project management and cross-functional collaboration

Even better, you'll have…

3+ years of experience in a creative leadership role and managing a creative/content team

Passion for simplicity and ability to distill complex ideas into digestible messages for customers
