Job Summary

Effectv is searching for a highly motivated and strategic thinker who can lead our Product Marketing team. Reporting to the VP of Sales Development, this individual will be responsible for leading a team of talented Product Marketers that develop the value proposition of our industry leading advertising products (including solutions such as streaming, TV, addressable, attribution, etc.), level-up our organization’s product knowledge, and support product strategies to drive revenue.

As the Director of Product Marketing, they will be a key partner to Effectv’s Product Management, Sales, Sales Development, Learning & Performance teams, plus many others. For Effectv’s new and existing advertising products, the Director will focus on successful value proposition development, educating our field teams, owning a feedback loop, and promoting adoption to support revenue growth across all lines of business (e.g. market retail, agencies, addressable, programmatic, etc.) and industries (e.g. retail, automotive, political, media & entertainment, etc.)

This role needs to be a coach and player that sits at a critical intersection of our HQ teams and field teams, and will need to establish high-level strategies while balancing executional needs of the frontline team members. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Leads the creation of the value proposition for our multiscreen advertising products, translates how the products work, and how the products complement each other within our advertising ecosystem

Partners with Product Management and Product Commercialization for the launch, evolution, and deprecation of advertising product strategies

Partners with Learning & Performance to develop, host, launch, and measure educational content/sessions to grow product knowledge among our frontline Sales and Sales Development teams

Creates and manages collateral and resources for our advertising products and competitive intelligence

Prioritizes the collection, interpretation, and distribution of product feedback from Sales, Sales Development, and advertising clients and shares/makes recommendations to leadership from Product Management, Product Commercialization, and other stakeholder teams

Maintains an expertise in Effectv’s advanced advertising solutions such as addressable, programmatic, attribution, data enablement, etc. as well as industry ad tech and trends through constant curiosity and learning

Identifies, assesses, interprets, and shares insights around competitive advertising strategies and products in the marketplace

Partners closely with Sales Marketing to ensure accuracy of product positioning is represented in our go-to-market narratives, along with other internal stakeholders (such as Communications, Brand, Demand Gen) as needed to supply updates and ensure accuracy of product positioning in various forums (e.g. blogs, website)

Collaborate and communicate with various business units such as Comcast Advertising, Freewheel, Xumo, Ampersand, and more as we deploy and educate around new products

Mentors, develops, and directs Product Marketing people leaders and individual contributors

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $152,687.92 - $229,031.88

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
