General Job Description / Summary

Position for a mid-level Registered Interior Designer to assist and lead in development of design ideas, drawings, presentations, and cost estimates and integrates design work and through the construction process with associated trades and design professionals.All aspects of projects will be with supervision from Interiors Department Manager.Participates with the Project Manager, Architects, design team, Interior Designers in consultation with all aspects associated with projects including project meetings and design. Responsible for creating, planning, and managing interior design projects including interviews, programming, design, construction documents, specifications, QAQC and estimates.Lead various tasks related to design and build inclusive of, but not limited to, sourcing finishes, casework/millwork, furniture and equipment, lighting, space planning, concept research, design development, documentation, and construction administration.Reads, interprets, and responds to RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, and submittals.Displays broad knowledge of the field with strong leadership skills.The successful candidate will plan and communicate effectively to facilitate collaboration among clients, designers, architects and engineers to successfully accomplish projectsMakes final sketch of proposed drawing, checking dimension of parts, materials to be used, relation of one part to another, and relation of various parts to whole structure or project.Salary Range:

$65,000-$110,000

Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in interior designWork Experience: minimum of 3-5years of interior design experience in healthcare, medical office building, commercial, municipal, federal, state and/or office buildings.NCIDQ license holder for a minimum of 3 yearsRegistered Interior Designer (RID) Required, multiple states as necessaryMember of the IIDA (preferred)
