This includes vision setting, designing solutions, prototyping, bringing along cross-functional teams, overseeing implementation, and collaborating with other designers, researchers, product managers, analysts, and engineers.Banking is committed to bringing financial freedom to all our customers. We’re looking for someone who has:8+ years of experience as a Product DesignerA passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging solutionsAn innate understanding of the end-to-end design process - from identifying customer needs and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiencesThe ability to apply consumer insights and metrics to inform design decisions and influence the product roadmapComfort with an iterative design process that includes soliciting and acting on feedbackStrong systems thinker with the ability to connect the dots across the entire customer journeyExperience in designing for multiple platforms, including mobile (both iOS and Android) and webExperience collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to influence outcomesKnowhow to interpret data and inform design decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative insightsLead with the voice of the customer and have a deep understanding of human centered design principlesExperience mentoring other designers, providing feedback and coaching workPrevious work experience in a consumer-focused tech organizationExperience in customer journey mapping and strategic design to complement design foundationsFamiliarity in creating interactive prototypes to enhance the customer storyAn active influencer with strong business acumen to help demonstrate the value of designAdditional Information
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
