What We DoThe Marketing Management family is intended to be a generalist family in that it covers management of a wide variety of marketing specialties such as Direct/Advertising/Promotional, Product/Brand, Content, Social Media, Database and Marketing Research/Analysis. Incumbents in these positions can be focused on one specialty or multiple specialties.

These positions operate within and across business units and/or large functional units, run complex broad functional areas, and balance both strategic and operational contributions. These positions set the leadership tone throughout the Company. Incumbents define, develop, model, and continuously assess Company culture while ensuring long-term corporate stability by leading and managing effectively and efficiently, while making a profit. They identify gaps, develop strategy, create, and execute operational plans in support of Company vision, and are responsible for margins and revenue.

Incumbents in these positions generally have direct reports who themselves lead large and diverse teams. They are responsible for financial/budget contributions and carry supervisory responsibilities, such as performance appraisal, disciplinary and salary recommendation authority. Mentorship, employee development, and succession planning are critical aspects of the job. Incumbents are responsible for building teams that successfully execute target goals and strategies of the Company. In some unique circumstances, incumbents in these positions may be responsible for a large functional area without having direct reports.
