Sony Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Marketing Communications Specialist to play a key role in the digital marketing for Sony's Home Entertainment division in our San Diego headquarters. This position is dynamic and fast paced and helps define the digital marketing strategy for the Home Entertainment division, with a strong emphasis on media, e-commerce marketing and media billing.

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will demonstrate competency in setting digital communications strategy, defining go-to-market plans, budget management and program performance reporting, including return on investment measures.

Responsibilities:

Brief internal and external cross-functional teams including media, messaging, web, research and CRM on direction, and work closely with these experts to ensure activities and programs are on strategy, meet timelines and deliver on the agreed upon performance goalsManage media billing for Home Entertainment and Personal Entertainment businesses, including invoicing, accruals and agency feesOversee market research projects, including working with external agencies to define research direction and review resultsAbility to formulate and present holistic marketing strategies, analyze many complex data reports and develop meaningful insights, and measure post activation results.Working with retail accounts to develop and manage digital strategies for their channelsSupport partner marketing through content, activations, and co-marketing opportunitiesPlay a key role in content development including working with internal and external creative agencies and supporting at offsite productionsAbility to learn the product market including target audience, usage scenarios, competitive landscape, technologies and their benefit to the consumer as well as future market trendsQualification requirements include:

BA/BS degree is required or equivalentMust have 3 to 5 years related experienceAttention to detail and ability to manage projects, including multiple supporting team members, on a tight timelinePro-active attitude focused on getting things done and meeting goalsForward thinking, anticipating challenges and solving for them before they happenStrong communication, presentation, and copy writing skillsAbility to understand product, the target consumer and the competitive market and craft unique multi-channel marketing strategies to reach themUnderstanding of paid media campaigns, including plan development and reportingExperience managing budgets, POs, and billing for media campaignsAnalytical mindset and the ability to crunch data to determine what worked, what didn't and how we improveDemonstrated problem-solving and project management skills.Inquisitive, thoughtful, collaborative, and service-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail.Experience managing CRM, digital, research media/advertising and social projectsSkills include competency in PowerPoint, Excel and WordAbility to manage multiple projects concurrently to successful completion within tight deadlines.Desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $86,000 to $106,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
