Position Overview

The Temporary Digital Content Manager is responsible for the creation and dissemination of content assets to support PHS’s brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue goals. This includes but is not limited to: emails, blogs, web page content, and other owned media assets as required. This position will work with the marketing and communications team to execute campaigns for the PHS brand and the Philadelphia Flower Show. A successful candidate will have an extensive knowledge of web content management systems (CMS), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, SEO, and content marketing.

Primary Responsibilities

Development and coordination of SEO-optimized content for online initiatives that align with the organization’s positioning and branding strategiesDevelop an understanding of marketing needs and create appropriately branded digital assets that achieve the organization’s goals as well as those outlined in PHS branding strategiesAccurately develop and drive timelines, reliably meeting ongoing and tight deadlinesWorks to support web and social search efforts and user experiences across all digital propertiesWrite and layout copy and visuals for: web content, content for promotional pages/microsites, email campaigns, and blogs that fulfill lead nurturing, branding, and conversion goalsRecommend and create content campaigns based on metrics including key performance indicators, search engine optimization, and user experience feedback for all digital marketing content; look to continually improve marketing goalsMaintain and manage the master editorial calendarQualifications/Specifications

Minimum degree required:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or other related fields,

Years of experience:Minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a relevant professional role.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities required for success:

Must be comfortable with and have knowledge of marketing analyticsRequires working knowledge of marketing automation tools (ex. MailChimp) and project management tools (ex. Monday.com, Asana, etc.) and be comfortable learning and adopting new technologies and processesAbility to think strategically through various channelsStrong analytical and project management skillsExceptional writing and editing skillsExcellent verbal communications skillsAbility to work individually or lead a team projectTask oriented: able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
