The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future.

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing and Communications Specialist. This position will be based in Wendell, NC.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, creating impactful campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth. The ideal candidate has an understanding of the power industry, marketing trends, and the ability to align marketing efforts with Siemens' global vision.

Responsibilities:
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with business leadership and cross-functional team to develop strategic marketing plans that align with business objectives and enhance Siemens' market position.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, events, trade shows, social media, and traditional advertising.
  • Brand Awareness: Implement initiatives to increase brand visibility and recognition in target markets. Ensure consistency in messaging and brand guidelines across all marketing materials.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, whitepapers, case studies, and presentations.
  • Digital Marketing: Plan, manage, and evaluate digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, email marketing, and social media campaigns, to drive demand/lead generation and customer engagement.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize marketing analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Provide regular reports to management with insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Event Management: Coordinate and support the planning and execution of industry events, conferences, and webinars to showcase Siemens' systems and solutions and establish thought leadership.
  • Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities. Use data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, product management, and other internal teams to align marketing efforts with their respective objectives and create synergy across the organization.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets efficiently and effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically to achieve maximum ROI.
You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and executing impactful campaigns.
  • Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, including social media, content marketing, demand and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying up-to-date with marketing trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in designing engaging and visually compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ability to create visually appealing materials, such as brochures, flyers, and marketing collateral, using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven experience in writing compelling and informative marketing whitepapers, case studies, and articles.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in B2B marketing within the power equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in utilizing a variety of marketing technology platforms, content management systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • 8-10 years of experience in B2B marketing preferred.
  • A Master's degree is a plus.

  • The pay range for this position is $71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
