Job Summary:

The Manager, Communications & Content Governance is responsible for helping to define, establish, and lead a center of excellence approach to developing and managing core CareSource messaging, narratives and content.

Essential Functions:Develop a content management strategy and process that adheres to best practices, policies, procedures, and compliance with state and federal requirements as applicable to communicationsLead the development of scalable communications and content that can be distributed across a variety of channels, including traditional and social media, to engage members, partners, policy makers, community organizations, and other key stakeholdersManage a wide variety of communications content, including key messaging documents, thought leadership, health communications, FAQs, video and multimedia content, high-impact external communication materials, and internal resources such as leadership briefings and campaign reportsWork with business and marketing teams, as well as outside agencies, to support marketing and/or communications campaignsCoordinate with internal teams to leverage content and campaigns across internal platforms, including the company intranet, employee newsletters, and other relevant channelsCollaborate cross-functionally to manage programs, evaluate effectiveness, and communicate campaign resultsImplement high-impact external communication materials that raise the visibility of CareSource's core areas of focus through various media, leading to clear business outcomes.Support media relations activity, including managing media inquiries and developing media briefings to support senior leadershipPerform any other job-related instructions as requestedEducation and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising/Public Relations, or a related field requiredA minimum of five (5) years of communications experience in corporate, product, or executive communications is requiredA minimum of three (3) years of management/supervisory experience is requiredPrevious health care communications experience preferredCompetencies, Knowledge and Skills:

Ability to develop and implement comprehensive content management strategiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines, working at all levels and across geographiesExcellent attention to detail to deliver compliant, error-free contentExcellent writing, editing, communication, and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to create high-impact strategic external communicationsWell-versed in multi-media communications platformsCollaborative partner with keen ability to effectively listen, distill information, think creatively, and deliver communications that drive resultsSuperior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and narrativesExpertise in creating and managing a variety of communications content, including multimedia and high-impact external materialsStrong ability to collaborate with internal and external partners, including business and marketing teams, agencies, and consultantsExcellent organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure timely executionKnowledge of state and federal communications requirements to ensure content meets all legal standardsLicensure and Certification:

General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of timeOccasional travel may be required to meet with partners and attend eventsCompensation Range:$79,800.00 - $127,600.00CareSource takes into consideration a combination of a candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required for the role, and other external and internal data when establishing a salary level.
