Position Title

: Video Telecommunications Specialist

Position Location

: Full Time onsite in San Antonio, TX

Daily Responsibilities

:

•Performs video capturing and transfers video to a media streaming server.

•Performs troubleshooting of VTC and conference room equipment and executes repair or initiates trouble ticket to the appropriate office for support of components and connections external to site VTC system.

•Performs routine performance testing to ensure VTC and other conference room equipment, computer servers, and workstations operate at optimal performance and capacity.

•Resolves system operational problems by troubleshooting and performing fault isolations.

•Schedules Audio/Video (AV/) VTC sessions, maintains a call schedule, and coordinates reservations and scheduling of AV/VTC services with outside agencies for executive-level users.

•Performs setup, tests, adjustments, operations, and shutdowns of equipment in support of AV/VTC sessions. Provides client consulting and training on control, interfaces, and use of audio/visual and VTC equipment.

•Acts as equipment custodian and performs inventory asset management and accountability functions. Provides life cycle refresh projections for AV/VTC infrastructure and AV equipment build out projects.

Required Years of Experience (min)

:

•4 years of experience.

Required Degree

:

•Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.

•IAT II: IAW Section 3.0 Commercial Certificates for DoD 8570.01-M certificate requirement, CE: Associate (professional preferred) level certificate for supported technology as approved by the COR.

Required Experience

:

•Set up, configure, and troubleshoot video conferencing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and seamless connectivity for meetings and events.

•Offer real-time assistance and problem resolution during video conferences, addressing technical issues promptly to minimize disruptions.

•Oversee the recording, editing, and storage of video conference sessions, ensuring proper archiving and accessibility for future reference.

•Works with IT and audiovisual teams to integrate video conferencing solutions with existing infrastructure, ensures compatibility/efficient operation.
