Learning Opportunity:
For students building a career in the entertainment industry, this internship provides a rare hands-on opportunity behind the scenes with the Publishing and A&R departments of this independent, international record label. Students may interact with our staff songwriters and artists, help with songwriting camps, and assist in the day-to-day work of catalog management, licensing and song plugging. With offices in Nashville, Tennessee (US) and Brighton, West Sussex (UK), Integrity is focused taking songs of substance to the local church and its leaders around the world.
Internship Description:
Learn and manage the Songspace catalog - inputting new songs as they are turned in, tagging, and sorting new song submissions, and capturing all relevant publishing info for co-writers.
Participate in regular song meetings with the publishing team and A&R team meetings.
Participate in company-wide meetings as able.
Assist with logistics, travel schedules, set up and content management for songwriting camps and recording projects.
Assist with social media output around songwriter releases and the Award show calendar (Grammy's, Doves, Covenants, Stellars, and StepFWD awards).
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Internship Requirements:
Formal Education:
Potential interns must be currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program and be registered for academic internship credit in the semester for which they are applying.
Experience:
Potential interns must have completed a minimum of 60 hours of college credit to be eligible to apply for this internship and have completed some form of intro / survey course in music business or entertainment industry studies.
Specialized Knowledge/Certification:
Integrity Music primarily serves Christian Worship and Gospel recording artists and songwriters. Potential candidates must demonstrate an interest in these genres and a willingness to learn more about the nuances of this unique niche of the music industry.Relational and emotional intelligence.
Equipment Knowledge: PC/Mac Computers. General office equipment and associated technologies.
