About the role:

As our Customs Entry Writer, you will be instrumental in the growth and development of the Customs Brokerage business of TQL Global. You will be responsible for filing and maintaining all documentation required by US Customs and Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) while also acting as a point of contact for Sales and their customers to ensure timely coordination of customs clearance, regulatory compliance and delivering a quality customer experience.

What you'll be doing:

Work with customer and internal team members to deliver a high quality customer experienceReview, file, audit and process all customs documentsCoordinate the release of goods with carriers, CBP, and other governmental agencies as requiredMaintain up-to-date customer records and customs compliance documentationReview shipment ISF data and submit within the regulatory timelineReview and monitor all customs rejections, requests for information and other correspondenceProvide clearance status as needed to the appropriate partiesExecute file billing in a timely mannerDevelop and maintain customer relationshipsWork predominantly with other departments within Total Quality Logistics for all customs needs.Other duties as assigned

What you need:

Ability to work Wednesday through Sunday, 8am to 5pm ESTStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task2+ years of experience processing customs entriesKnowledgeable with U.S. Customs RegulationsBasic knowledge of the HTSUSAbility to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
