JOB TITLE:

Marketing Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:

Coordinate and collaborate with various university departments to create marketing content for the University of Wyoming. Develop graphics, short-form videos, imagery, copy, and content that align with the university's voice and tone. Assist in crafting social media strategies for existing and new university accounts. Engage with social media followers by responding to questions or comments and directing them to the appropriate campus units. Attend on-campus events to gather content and work with team members to share it across different social media platforms. Build relationships with student-focused units to produce relevant social media content. Provide engagement reports to your supervisor and offer recommendations to improve social media interactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Design and create marketing graphics and content for various campaigns that support the university's mission.Develop unique designs that are suitable for various marketing platforms including social media, email marketing and web.Create error-free captions and content for social media with frequent posting to the university's social media profiles.Work within the university's brand guidelines to produce high-quality marketing content.Become familiar with UW's key audiences and content needs, including prospective and current students.Become familiar with Facebook Business Manager to assist in the administration and adoption of university-wide social media accounts.Collaborate with internal and external team members to seek out impactful content that aligns with the university's mission, goals and initiatives.Create short-form social media videos.Thoroughly proofread and review all marketing content prior to supervisor review and approval.Monitor and respond to weekday public and direct messaging on various social media platforms.Provide supervisor with elevated social media concerns or comments and recommendations for resolution that cannot be resolved alone.SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as a design and production consultant to University personnel as directed.Assist supervisor or independently give presentations.Establish and maintain documentation/records.COMPETENCIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Art, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

Experience:

1 year work-related experience

Required licensure, certification, registration or other requirements:

Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the

University Vehicle Use Policy
