SUMMARY: Plan, coordinate, and communicate Treasure Island's vision, mission, and overall brand identity through written and verbal messages and team efforts. Build relationships and support various divisions such as Human Resources, Brand Communications, Marketing, etc. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner closely with Human Resources and Brand departments to create, edit and disseminate communication and internal content calendars for team member initiatives, including events, projects, and other topics of interest- Partner with Team Member Relations department to amplify team member initiatives and create engaging content that promotes Treasure Island as a fun and welcoming workplace- Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of long-range Team Member Relations communication and engagement strategies such as special events, rewards programs, offers, benefits, opportunities, etc.- Assist with the planning, coordination, and staffing of on and off property team events- Plan and execute upon the internal communications strategy to help strengthen the company culture. Work with other divisions to produce effective team member communications via email, print, spoken, etc. methods, regarding services, Gaming license information, announcements, events, and so on, and promote the overall brand vision to individuals or large groups- Partner with management team to communicate overall execution of the Treasure Island strategic plan- Seek out opportunities to increase awareness and promote goodwill by effectively communicating property-wide initiatives and organizational priorities to team members- Collaborate with Brand department to find unique and creative ways to tell stories that are engaging and that resonate with a variety of people, while ensuring messaging promotes and upholds Treasure Island brand standards- Work with Creative and Digital Content teams to oversee back-of-house outreach of team communications- Work directly with Brand Project Manager to create and oversee internal communications work orders and workflow process- Learn brand standards and become a steward and ambassador of the TIRC brand- Hire, schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff and conduct performance reviews- Direct daily work activities and inspect completed work for conformance to standards- Work with division Director to determine budget and manage expenses to that budget; create purchase orders as needed

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIESKnowledge and CertificationRequired:- 4-year degree or certificate in Human Resources, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or related field and 5-7 years' experience in related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education- 2-3 years' experience leading effective internal communications for a mid-to-large sized company- 3 years supervisory experience preferably in gaming and/or hospitality industries- Experience telling stories using several different communication methods that resonate with a variety of people- Experience in event planning and management- Tactical understanding of social medial platforms and applications
