Job Description

OBJECTIVES:

The Director, Marketing Excellence, a member of the Global Dengue Brand Team, will be responsible for supporting the development of marketing strategies for both patients and HCPs, in travel and endemic markets.Responsible for supporting global marketing and brand management for our dengue vaccine for travel and endemic market strategy.Propose strategies and lead marketing activity development to ensure a successful global launch of our dengue vaccine; develop and implement effective pre-launch, launch and post launch plans, with consideration of our global to local operating model.Support the assessment and integration of data generated customer insights to optimize and plan differentiated engagements with key stakeholder groups.Propose and implement promotion and integrated communications in coordination with medical affairs and communications, ensuring high awareness of dengue as well as supporting in the consideration and conversion stages of the Patient and HCP journeys with impactful messaging across target audiences.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Marketing Excellence with a focus on Travel Market Development

Support the development of the dengue global travel and endemic engagement strategy, including campaign, messaging, and related programs and tactics; scope includes strategy and associated elements for both patients and HCPs.Support management of agency partners, including finalizing project scope, budget, and key milestones; engage with procurement for support.In partnership with our Market Research Lead, develop a market research program to uncover deep human truths for patient and HCP insights to support strategy development and execution excellence.Utilize segmentation to build patient and HCP journeys that enable identification of opportunities for engagement and prevent leakage across the journey.Work in partnership with the Omnichannel Excellence Lead to identify and develop a multi-channel marketing program for our travel market strategy, including understanding the innovation required to create long term value for patients and global-to-local development and implementation.Align with other key functions, e.g. Communications and Medical, when designing and developing patient and HCP engagement programs.Ensure coordination across our travel and endemic market teams to optimize efficiencies and leverage existing resources.Provide input into other key commercial workstreams as needed.Support the development of a vaccines focused mindset in the LOCs and at regional level through capability development and building a cross cultural/geographical network in order to have advocates and influencers.Use an agile and diplomatic mindset to escalate, articulate and collaboratively resolve critical issues.Brand Planning

Contribute to the global brand plan development process, aligning with cross-functional groups, facilitating the development of the plan, organizing reviews, and optimizing engagement and alignment with LOCs.Develop and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders.Commercial Training

Support the design and production of the commercial training plan, with the support of a training partner.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

MBA preferred.Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in vaccines/pharma or consumers goods industry, preferably in multiple geographies, in commercial operations and/or global marketing.Exposure to multi-country product launch and pre-launch activities and issues.Demonstration of capacity for strategic thinking plus strong analysis skills and a creative/innovative approach to problem solving. Proven ability to work cross-functionally and cross-regionally.Ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence project teams without direct reporting lines; proven leadership skills and experience.Ability to synthesize complex information and distil critical customer driven insights to develop innovative commercial strategies.Understands key market segments (i.e. HCPs, patients, payors, distributors and policy makers.)Excellent presentation, analytical and communication skills, both written and oral, are required, to synthesize key issues, and communicate/persuade constituencies towards specific actions and initiatives.Good decision-making and tactical skills are required in order to develop policy options and recommendations to address issues expeditiously.Should be well organized, highly motivated, process driven and results oriented with the ability to rebalance priorities and assume responsibility in a multi-tasking environment.Enthusiastic, confident and must be able to act independently and demonstrate soundTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Domestic and international travel as mutually planned.

U.S. Base Salary Range:$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
