Come be part of the team that’s powering play.SUMMARY Hulu’s Content Partnerships team is seeking a Senior Manager who will be an exceptional addition to our team. As a Senior Manager in the Content Partnerships team, you will report directly to the Director, Content Partnerships and work closely with department leadership as an integral part of the group responsible for growing Hulu’s live linear service (Hulu + Live TV) and managing premiums (e.g. Max, Paramount+ with Showtime, Starz) and add-on services. You will assist the Content Partnerships team with strategy and carriage agreement negotiations with major broadcast and cable TV networks and other premiums or add-ons. The right person for this role is a self-starter, eager to learn, well-versed in the streaming media ecosystem and experienced in navigating cross-functional relationships within and outside an organization. This person has exceptional communication and organizational skills and is able to work with networks, content providers and internal stakeholders to build consensus around strategies and opportunities. This person will also have knowledge and interest in linear and on-demand content distribution, direct-to-consumer technology, sports rights and programming. Finally, this person thinks big, learns quickly, and approaches everything with enthusiasm.WHAT YOU’LL DO

Lead negotiations under Director/VP on major renewals of Hulu + Live TV’s carriage agreements with broadcast and cable TV networks, premiums (e.g. Max, Paramount+ with Showtime, Starz) and other add-ons. Manage all internal deal processes, including financial analysis, contract review, collaboration with internal stakeholders, technical requirements, and cross-department signoffsManage relationships with various content partners and serve as primary point person on promotional initiatives, technical onboarding and contract negotiationPrepare economic offers via financial modeling, and analyze partner performance using data metricsCollaborate with leadership and other internal stakeholders on developing content strategy for Hulu, including but not limited to sports, premium add-ons, and live eventsManage long-term and ad-hoc projects to support the broader strategy of the Content Partnerships team and Hulu overallCollaborate with Strategy/Business Development teams across The Walt Disney Company on future business opportunities, forecasting market trends and delivering on wider company objectivesWHAT TO BRING

Bachelor’s degree and MBA a plus (but not required)5+ years entertainment/technology experience, with 3+ years of relationship management with a media/technology focusSignificant experience in licensing and distribution deals for content with TV networks, content studios, or other licensors, with a strong ability to independently lead negotiations with external partners as well as manage cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to quickly get up-to-speed and thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects concurrently, often with little supervision or lack of established process.Excels in building and delivering presentations to executives and external partners, and able to translate business objectives for stakeholders across the company, including product, finance, marketing, legal and accounting. Excellent attention to detail, and strong financial modeling and presentation skills (including Powerpoint and Excel).Passion for entertainment, TV, sports and technology with a deep knowledge of the evolution of the digital/media industriesWillingness to travel (10-15%)

The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
