The Greeley-Weld Housing Authority is seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead the organization in its mission to provide affordable housing solutions and support services to residents in Greeley and Weld County.
Serving roughly 1,400 clients with an annual budget of approximately $6.6 million, the Greeley-Weld Housing Authority comprises two housing authorities collocated and operating with a single staff. Both authorities — one for the City of Greeley and the other for Weld County — maintain contracts with the Department of Housing and Urban Development and work to provide safe, decent, and sanitary affordable housing to families and individuals making between 0% and 80% of median income.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of the organization, including strategic planning, financial management, program development, community engagement, and staff leadership.
Implement affordable housing policies, funding mechanisms, and strategies to address housing disparities.
Collaborate with city and county governments to enhance housing solutions.
Manage and develop staff effectively.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, urban planning, social work, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in affordable housing, community development, nonprofit, government, or related fields.
Previous executive-level experience in a similar organization is desirable.
Experience addressing large-scale community challenges at a systems level.
Supervisory experience of two (2) or more staff members is a plus.
The Authority is offering a salary range of $110,000 to $130,000 for this position, dependent on experience and qualifications, and a full range of benefits, including medical and dental insurance, holidays, and paid time off.
