Join us.The Content organization provides best-in-class management, education, and support for creators and publishers to drive deeper engagement on TikTok, resulting in increased reach and protected with appropriate moderation. Content Strategy & Policy is one of its three pillars (alongside Creators and Publishers) and serves as the "connective tissue" within our organization, focused on the centralized data analysis, metrics, content strategy, editorial policy, and cross-functional alignment efforts – especially with Product, Algo, and Trust & Safety – needed to prioritize our approach around the world.We are looking for a Head of Content Strategy & Roadmap who will report to the Head of Content Strategy & Policy. Their responsibilities will include OKR setting & alignment, budget setting, content product roadmap, and XFN strategic initiatives and alignment. In addition for having a global remit, this position will also effectively serve as the content strategy lead for North America.Responsibilities

Manage and lead a global team of strategists who set our strategic plan – including OKRs and budget – for the Content Ops organization, fostering alignment with key business leaders and stakeholders on overall operational priorities.Deeply understand the creator and publisher ecosystem on TikTok, and consult with the Creator, Publisher, and regional teams to support and represent their needs – especially in cross-functional workstreams.Build and nimbly iterate coherent recommendations and frameworks for complex business challenges to TikTok Content, backed by comprehensive insights, rigorous analytics, and informed by cross-business understanding.Work seamlessly with cross-functional strategy organizations – including Product, Marketing, and Global Business Solutions – to develop joint business plans that can better serve our common creator and publisher stakeholders and needs.Develop and maintain Content team's product roadmap for rolling out to TikTok managed creators and publishers, in partnership with Product team.Provide business intelligence across key sectors to better inform business teams on existing trends and emerging opportunities.Build financial models and business cases to greenlight content investment opportunities.Experience

Minimum qualifications:Experienced people manager with a proactive style, and a track record for building positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environments across global teams and different cultural backgrounds.Prior work experience in media & entertainment, technology, corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment banking.Knowledge of North America cultural landscape – especially entertainment, sports, lifestyle, and education – with good discernment for international market dynamics.Strong leadership in building consensus and alignment among senior management across a large organization.Deep understanding of the dynamics between Product teams and Operations teams, with the skills to synthesize complex issues and to crystallize into clear operational steps.Preferred Qualifications:Holistic strategy skillset, including quantitative and qualitative research, insight synthesis, financial modeling, and business case development.Familiarity with staffing models and matrixed / flexible organizational design principles.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, catering to an executive audience.Experience managing and entering business negotiations with external stakeholders and/or clients.MBA or equivalent graduate degree.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
