With your specialism in environmental management, or your technical or sustainability expertise, your work could involve protected species, pollution, surface water and materials management, air quality or noise. And in some of the world's busiest and most beautiful locations.The role sits within our Resilience Global Business Area. We work to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations. Reports to DirectorLeads and drives projects in India for:

Site Evaluation & Restoration (SER)Sustainable Operations (SO)Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)Technical Due Diligence (TDD)

Responsible for P&L in IndiaDirect reports include multidisciplinary staff from lower job levels within the span of control.Support GEC management at various levels to effectively drive India team operations, business targets and objectives, project management, quality management, and building team capabilities.Establish and consolidate relationships with senior staff in regional offices in different countries, taking ownership of the delivery, and GEC’s technical capabilities.Develop bid proposals and new pursuits in India.Support client development for key clients in India.Drive operational excellence by supporting timely invoicing and cash collection.Support global projects as a technical expert in one's area of expertise.Drive creativity and independent thinking within your team, including around new digital technologies.Manage the delivery of tasks in accordance with Arcadis Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.Work to ensure that best practices of delivery are adopted, and shared with relevant teams.Qualifications & Experience

BE Tech/MTech in Environmental/Mech/Civil Engineering or equivalent.PG in Project Management, Construction Management or MBA from a recognized institute will be an added advantage.Ideally 13+ years of professional experience.Strong technical background in one or more skills.Experience in delivering projects and managing clients in India.Experience in managing P&L or substantial projects (over $1 million).Experience in managing staff/stakeholders across a wide range of disciplines.Confident in building strong and lasting relationships with senior stakeholders in India, at a regional and global level.Awareness of global digital and technology trends related to the environmental sector.A strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure.Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.Flexible to adopt changes and challenges as per business requirements.
