The corporate and executive digital content manager will partner with a highly capable team on owned corporate storytelling opportunities and all aspects of executive social media – developing content ideas and generating engagement opportunities, creating compelling creative content (both static and video) and overseeing community management and monitoring. This individual will leverage a strong understanding of the social media landscape and a passion for storytelling through owned and digital content to advance the Starbucks brand and our company’s executive leadership presence.

As a digital content manager, corporate and executive communications , you will…

Help develop and execute social media, digital and owned content strategies supporting some of our biggest corporate stories; leverage a creative mindset a deep understanding of digital platforms and our unique audiences to help tell compelling and engaging corporate stories.

Support and drive forward a comprehensive social and digital strategic plan for executive leadership-positively advancing their reputation, building trust with key stakeholders, and driving engagement across priority audiences, stakeholders, and topics.

Recommend and create content ideas tailored for our corporate executive social media channels, in alignment with current events, upcoming engagements and corporate priorities; participate in an editorial planning process with a cross-functional team.

Compile monthly and quarterly and ad-hoc reports to measure growth and identify opportunities in alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs).

Use data-driven insights, trends, and regular reporting to guide and optimize the strategy over time.

Monitor profiles daily to identify external engagement opportunities, coordinate appropriate actions for inbound messages and requests and uphold community management principles.

Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to amplify and track company initiatives and activations.

Maintain flawless social media governance and comply with all legal, regulatory and confidentiality protocols

We’d love to hear from people with:

3-5 years of relevant experience with an agency or in-house communications, public relations or public affairs team.

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Advertising, Public Relations or a related field.

Proven experience in planning, publishing, and managing content on TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and LinkedIn.

Experience working in executive or leadership communications, preferred.

A creative mindset and content creation skills – from videography and photography to graphic design and writing – with a deep understanding of storytelling across social media channels.

Strong writing skills and demonstrated experience distilling complex information into effective, differentiated content that resonates with our stakeholders.

Impeccable judgement, attention to detail and ability to remain agile in a fast-moving environment with rapidly shifting priorities.

Strong time management and organizational skills; including ability to multi-task, set priorities and adhere to deadlines.

Notable ability to build effective working relationships with cross functional teams and individuals.

Ability to travel domestically in the U.S. and internationally, as needed.

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
