Marketing Director

We're currently searching for an experienced Marketing Director to help drive our marketing initiatives, maintain our systems, and develop new talent. This position will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and is an on-site position in our office in Bethesda, Maryland.Skills:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to lead groups and be decisiveCollaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategiesTime management and organization in order to meet strict deadlinesAbility to recognize trends and stay ahead of themProficient with analysis and design softwareKnowledge of internet marketing campaigns, including SEOResponsibilities:Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with CMO, creatives, event and sales teams to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and servicesOversee the execution of marketing campaigns across all disciplinesConduct weekly meetings to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and brainstorm possible solutions, and provide training to ensure team is consistently performing above standardTraining and Support:Work alongside CMO to develop and train new talent within the marketing team, providing guidance on role specific responsibilities, the wealth management industry, compliance, and project management.Continuous Improvement:Regularly review Potomac's platform agreements and selling opportunities.Follow industry evolution and trends.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications.Proficiency with Hubspot, LinkedIn Ads, various communication tools, and design softwareEstablished roster of media and PR contacts.Desire to grow professionally through ongoing education.About Potomac:In the past four years, Potomac has grown from under $140M+ to over $1.7B in AUM.
