Content Writing Intern

The Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey league (NAHL) are looking to add one to two content writing interns to our media team. The right candidates will be looking to develop their writing skills while contributing to a collaborative team environment and working with the current writing team.
The intern will have the opportunity to work with the current staff on varying projects such as our website, social media outlets, and other written media projects.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be either currently enrolled in or recently graduated from college studying a related field. The student may or may not choose to seek college credit for this internship. The Bobcats will work with the student's school to ensure the internship works within their requirements for credit if so desired.This position is open to in person or remote candidates. Our current media team consists of staff located in Bismarck, ND. However, we are open to the idea of having remote content writers.
What the Intern can Expect from the BobcatsThe Bobcats will work with the intern to develop their skills with products such as Adobe Creative Cloud, working within established branding guides (both our own and our partners), and creating advertising inventory through media production. Our media team is collaborative in nature and the intern will be given the opportunity to seek the projects that will help them achieve their ultimate career goals. Interns should expect to be treated as valued members of the team and encouraged to share opinions and ideas openly.
