Location:

The successful candidate will be expected to work in a hybrid status of reporting to assigned Consumers Energy Service Center every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday with home office flexibility on Wednesday and Friday.

We are looking for: Marketing Manager

The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the Marketing Strategies required to achieve business goals such as margin, MW savings, and customer enrollments. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager will work collaboratively with the Product Owners (Program Managers) in using research, analytics, customer journey maps, and other tools to develop the go to market strategy required to achieve our business goals. This person will define marketing objectives necessary to meet business outcomes, establish funding requirements, and understand product budgets in order to direct effective customer-centric campaign strategies that deliver against business targets across channels. In addition to partnering with the Product Teams, this person will also engage Experience Design, Sales, Corporate Communications, Legal, 3rd party agencies, and various external teams.

Ability to assess complex market landscape and create focused, integrated marketing strategies, and implement plans with a proven track record of success

Strong analytical and communication skills to build compelling business cases in order to win internal support for marketing initiatives

Ability to coordinate efforts cross-functionally to achieve positive results

Excellent program/project management skills, and proven experience in product marketing, creative/content development, media buying processes, and marketing return on investment analysis

We encourage you to apply if you have:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, economics, communications, or related field with two (2) or more years of applicable experience

[OR] Associate’s degree in technical, engineering, construction, or related field with four (4) or more years of applicable experience

[OR] High School Diploma with six (6) or more years of applicable experience

Experience in all aspects of the development and implementation of strategic product marketing (i.e. product, price, place and promotion) – its features, SWOTs, key value propositions/benefits and differentiators, perceived & real value, competitive environments and market potential, funnel objectives, target markets, etc.

Ability to define and drive multichannel go-to-market and promotional strategies necessary to drive revenue at all stages of the products' lifecycles.

Certified Marketing Professional

In this role, you will:

Create and execute go-to-market strategies including an engagement and channel strategy as well as campaign management. S/he will also develop a measurement strategy to determine marketing attribution and conversion targets, ensuring an optimal marketing return on investment is met.

Create product positioning by assessing the competitive landscape, understand product features, and defining the products' differentiated value propositions. Participate in the development of products' attributes and pricing.

Partner with product owner, sales team, and experience design team to design the optimal customer experience with the product and company that achieve business goals.

Partner with product owners to influence product pricing and bundling strategies, as well as plan new product launches and manage the cross-functional implementation of those launches.

Other non-essential duties as assigned or may be necessary.
