The

Head, VEOZAH HCP Marketing

is responsible for the HCP marketing strategy and execution across personal promotion, Digital Marketing, Non-personal Promotion and Medical Education/ KOL / Professional Relations to maximize the patient impact and commercial value of VEOZAH. VEOZAH launched in May 2023 and is the first and only nonhormonal neurokinin 3 (NK3) receptor antagonist approved to treat VMS due to menopause today. VEOZAH is a Priority Brand for Astellas and has blockbuster potential. The VMS market is dynamic and rapidly evolving as the NK3 category becomes increasingly competitive.

Purpose:

The

Head, VEOZAH HCP Marketing

is responsible for leading a team of 6 HCP Marketers to maximize the patient impact and commercial value of VEOZAH and will be a key member of the US VEOZAH Marketing Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing and ensuring execution of the HCP Promotional strategy across all professional channels. This colleague is responsible ensuring strong cross-functional alignment in the flawless execution of strategy and promotional tactics working in close collaboration with key partners, especially other members of the brand team, Global Marketing, CI, Sales, Training, Regulatory, Legal, Medical Affairs, and agencies.

Specific responsibilities will evolve based on the needs of the brand, lifecycle of the brand, and competencies required on specific projects.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Prepare for and execute the launch of VEOZAH in approved specialties.Co-lead development of competitive readiness plans.Evolve HCP promotional messaging platform and supporting sales tactics.Guide the development/evolution of the Medical Education program and unbranded VMS education campaign.Develop, measure, and monitor KPIs.Lead the development ad execution of US HCP promotional tactics for VEOZAH to drive market share and achieve sales targets. Measure effectiveness on an ongoing basis and recommend changes accordingly.Partner with Sales and Sales Training to drive field training approach. Ensure deep understanding of disease state and brand, and successful implantation of marketing programs. Solicit sales feedback and input and translate into marketing tactics as appropriate.Ensure that materials and programs are highly effective and complaint by owning projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process.Collaborate with Market Research on the design and assessment of brand, CDx and disease state projects; leverage and share insights cross-functionally to improve execution across the commercial organization.Drive all digital and other non-personal promotional efforts to execute against consistent strategic messaging to HCP customers. Adapt NPP channel investment based on testing and analytics.Lead development and utilization of Promotional Mix Model by working with Analytics and vendor partners, and use model output to recommend optimal NPP channel investmentManage outside agencies in the following capacities: project estimate development, time management, and execution of projects, and assuring consistency with product positioning, brand guidelines, Astellas goals, direction, and ethics. Serve as the primary owner to Creative Agency and Media Agency relationships.Lead all HCP promotional components in the development of the annual brand and tactical plan.Track and manage detailed budget for responsible tactics.Ensure all work is completed in an ethical and compliant manner.Quantitative Dimensions:

This individual will report to the US Commercial Head, VEOZAH. This position will need to fully develop working relationships with external partners and internal colleagues from other departments (including global, market research, legal, and regulatory). Frequent contact and collaboration with Brand Commercial Heads and/or associated senior level colleagues across functions is expected. This role requires high levels of collaboration for success and will need to be consistently demonstrated through the sharing of ideas that leads to creative solutions.Qualifications

Required:
