Our founding team consists of data scientists and engineers from Airbnb, Dropbox, Pinterest, Harvard and Yale. We have raised $1.5M and are backed by Y Combinator and Pear VC. Our founding team consists of technologists who are also Airbnb hosts with a 4.99+ rating across thousands of stays.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role based out of our office in San Francisco. We are seeking Founding Product Designer to join our early-stage startup and help shape the future of Airbnb hosting. In this role, you will have the opportunity to own the end-to-end design process for key features of our AI-powered host operating system.As our first full time Product Designer, you will:Work closely with the founding team to define the product vision, strategy and roadmapLead the UX and UI design for core product features from ideation through implementationCreate user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs to communicate design solutionsPartner with engineering to ensure designs are implemented to spec and the final product delivers an exceptional user experienceConduct user research and usability testing to validate designs and gather insightsContribute to building our design system and evolving our design processes as the team growsProvide input on product direction and help shape the design culture at an early stageWhat We're Looking For5+ years of product design experience, in consumer, B2B SaaS and/or marketplacesStrong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work across web and mobileExpertise in interaction design, visual design, and design systemsHighly proficient with Figma.
