If you want to empower the small business owner through a networking platform unlike any other, let’s talk.What you will be doing:As a Growth Marketing Manager at Alignable, you'll help real business owners make the connections they need to find success in their local and virtual communities. The Community Programs team drives engagement in our groups, virtual events, and in-person networking events. You’ll help business owners discover and join “the room where it happens” with the people they want to meet, and build meaningful relationships that help their business grow.In this role, you will:
Report directly to the Senior Director, MarketingDefine strategies for increasing joins and engagement in our virtual and in-person communitiesSee the impact to Alignable’s business metrics - even top level KPIs - from your campaignsUse a growth mindset and marketing execution skills to bring our programs to more members and drive community engagementUtilize marketing channels, product-led growth, in-person experiences, and individual advocates to enhance engagement metricsImplement marketing tools and tactics like growth hacking, email marketing, and product-led growth to increase engagement, success, and retentionConduct iterative testing and implement bold new strategiesLeverage people, events, content, and format to achieve our goalsDay-to-Day Responsibilities and Success Metrics:
Campaign Development and Execution : Design, develop, and execute marketing campaigns across various channels to drive community engagement and event participation. Success is measured by increased event attendance and engagement metrics.Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze customer data and campaign performance using analytics tools; generate reports to inform strategies and demonstrate the effectiveness of marketing efforts. Success is tracked through continuous improvement based on performance data.Collaboration:
Work closely with Program leads, product, and engineering teams to align marketing initiatives with community goals and product development. Successful collaboration leads to achieving ambitious growth targets.Messaging:
Develop compelling copy and positioning for email campaigns, in-product messaging, and other communication channels to engage users and promote events. Success is indicated by high engagement rates and positive customer feedback.Customer Insight:
Engage with community members to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure their success within the community. Implementing changes based on this insight will result in more successful campaigns.Optimization and Testing:
Continuously test and optimize marketing tactics to improve engagement and retention rates. Success involves effective iterative testing and achieving key marketing metrics.Event Promotion:
Promote virtual and in-person events through targeted marketing efforts, ensuring high attendance and engagement. Successful events drive meaningful engagement and relationship building.Segmentation:
Define and refine customer segmentation to tailor marketing campaigns and maximize impact. Success is measured by the effectiveness of segmented campaigns in driving customer outcomes.What you will bring:
Affinity for small business and/or an entrepreneurial spirit5-8 years of experience in marketing, growth, sales, or related rolesProven experience in marketing to large audiences of 100,000+ members, with a track record of driving engagement and successful campaign outcomes at scaleHands-on experience with growth, lead generation, campaign management, demand generation, and/or lifecycle marketingAbility to capture and share key data and insights to drive marketing strategies and decisionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience creating and executing successful multi-channel segmented marketing campaigns, ideally for a networking, freemium, or SaaS productProficiency with marketing automation platforms like Hubspot, Iterable, or MarketoProficiency with data analytics platforms like Amplitude, Looker, or TableauWhy Alignable?
