We are searching for a skilled, highly motivated Graphic Designer to join our Operations & Supply Chain (OSC) Integrated Talent Development (ITD) Team, primarily focused on OSC User Engagement. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with skill and passion for design methodology and visual storytelling, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Suite, and is energized to observe, learn, and contribute to our evolving, and highly innovative Knowledge Transfer ecosystem. What You Will Do

Thoughtfully understand the ITD Learning & Development paradigm, with an emphasis on Knowledge Transfer systems/tools, processes, and culture

Design graphics and other collateral that are aligned with team brand for application in internal marketing resources, learning content, templates, etc. for deployment in ITD website, ITD systems, LT presentations, and other media

Conceptualize and design motion graphics, animations, and videos for marketing purposes, including detailed visual storytelling, user engagement, how-to videos, etc.

Leverage PowerPoint with advanced animation/transitions for visual storytelling, to be used in strategic presentation materials, including those with high exposure to Leadership Team (LT)

Take ownership of projects from concept to completion, independently analyzing requirements and proposing creative visual collateral that simplifies and explains core messaging

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously to ensure the ITD brand is upheld in all solutions

Qualifications You Must Have

1 year of applicable experience including proficiency in design methodology, design thinking, and design research

Skilled in graphic design and visual storytelling using the following programs: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word)

Experience with some of the latest industry standards and trends for graphic design and visual storytelling

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

Experience in diagramming wireframes of systems and tools

Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate and align on ideas prior to creation, such as storyboarding to ensure ideas are synthesized into well aligned and positioned visuals

Ability to thrive in an agile, fast fail/fast iterate environment that is always improving

Ability to develop highly engaging and enabling collateral consistent with a single brand (graphics, diagrams, videos, templates, presentations, etc.)

A passion for innovation and using skills to shape a great work environment and culture

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
