JOB PURPOSE

This role is pivotal in shaping visual communications that embody our commitment to educational excellence. You will manage and execute graphic design projects, serving as a primary creative resource for our support center and network of schools, ensuring all visual content aligns with CSUSA's mission and brand standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Design Execution and Innovation: Create compelling and effective graphic designs for a variety of uses, including digital marketing materials, print documents, event signage, and promotional items.Brand Guardianship: Ensure all designs and visual materials consistently reflect CSUSA's brand identity and MVP ethos. This includes adherence to brand guidelines and contributing to their evolution.Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the marketing, communications, and educational teams to develop creative solutions that meet CSUSA's strategic goals. Act as a liaison between external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure design needs are met efficiently and effectively.Workflow Management: Oversee the graphic design workflow within the organization, prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring quality of all deliverables.MVP Integration: Incorporate the principles of Mission, Values, Promise into design projects to enhance the visual narrative of Strong Minds and Good Hearts™ across all platforms schedules, data, information, etc. for the annual budget process.**MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED**

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.2-3 years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an educational or corporate setting.High degree of proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and web design tools and CMS.Proficiency in presentation outputs (PowerPoint,KeyNote, Presi)Proficiency in video post-production for use online and on social media considered a strong plus.Exceptional creativity and innovation with a strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and branding.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and integrate feedback constructively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:

Usual office working hours.In-office and remote (hybrid) after the first 90 days of employmentDedicated workspace and ITPHYSICAL DEMANDS

No physical exertion required.Travel within or outside of state.Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as frequently as needed to move objects.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with CSUSA salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by Charter Schools USA.

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
