to assist with a variety of marketing technology projects such as maintaining the Firm's website presence by creating and posting firm content to the website and monitoring for discrepancies.

Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityThe ideal candidate will be responsible for...Maintaining website content -- Updating existing content, creating new content, and making sure all content follows the company's standards for SEO, branding, and user experienceReviewing website for data quality -- Developing and maintaining website data to ensure it adheres to industry standards and best practicesE-marketing distribution -- Managing and optimizing the company's e-marketing efforts, including email campaigns, advertising, other digital campaigns, creating and distributing daily client alerts and announcements.Assisting in the creation of custom email marketing templates, snippets, and other general HTML customization requests as needed by the teamProject Management -- Utilizing the Firm's project management software (Hive) to ensure and enhance process workflow, facilitate internal trainings with team user groups, assist in defining and implementing use cases amongst the team, and create specific processes and workflows that promote workplace efficiencyWebsite analytics -- Monitoring, management, and interpretation of website metrics such as page views, website visits, and other data to help improve the user experience, and assist in the decision-making process for website enhancementsE-marketing analytics -- Monitoring, management, and interpretation of e-marketing metrics such as email open rates, CTRs, and other important data pointsCoordinating the production and distribution of regular, standard reports including the integration between web analytics, metrics on social media, email marketing and video contentResponding to ad-hoc requests for web performance analysis from internal stakeholdersAssisting with department-wide Marketing Technology projects by participating in project update meetings, tracking the progress of tasks, and providing updates to key stakeholdersAssisting with the onboarding and training of marketing and business development members regarding marketing technology software, processes, and systemsThe successful candidate will demonstrate...A bachelor's degree or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the jobMinimum of three years of related work experience in a law firm marketing/BD setting required with a preference for two or more years of experience in a marketing technology or marketing communications roleExcellent understanding of modern website management, content management systems, and marketing technology with a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or other web programming languagesGeneral understanding of project management methodologies and workplace efficiencies. A basic understanding of project management tools such as Gantt charts, Kanban boards, and collaboration platforms is preferredGeneral understanding of marketing concepts and resourceful team focusStrong organization skills to support marketing and business development activities with ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating competing tasks, demands and deadlinesKnowledge of the following applications is ideal: proposals (Proposal Pilot), experience management database (Deals and Cases), customer relationship management system (InterAction), email marketing (Vuture), website and blog CMS (Sitecore, Lexblog and Wordpress), analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics and Siteimprove), and social media management platforms (Hootsuite), and SEO (BrightEdge)Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Adobe creative suite, SharePoint, SlackPay Range for Candidates in Washington, DC:$72,000 - $85,000 per yearThe range provided is the minimum and maximum salary that Venable in good faith believes at the time of this posting that it is willing to pay for the advertised position.
