As a Writing Advisor at Freshman, you will be responsible for consulting high-school students on their personal narratives and other essays. We expect advisors to be genuinely invested in the essays and applications of our students.
Main Responsibilities:
– Meet with students in a one-on-one online setting
– Assisting students in all stages of writing: Ideation, Essay Planning, and Editing.
– Review individual essays, university applications, research papers, and others.
– Proactively follow up on a student’s progress
– Lead writing classes and workshops
Requirements:
– Three years experience working in Creative Writing or related fields.
– Strong research and analytical skills.
– Strong passion for learning and a proactive attitude to work.
– Experience studying in an International Liberal Arts College.
– Experience working in an online setting is preferred
– Knowledge of Russian and/or Uzbek will be preferable but not required.
Commitment:
