We are seeking a cleared or clearable
PCB/PWB Layout Designer
who is self-motivated and energetic with knowledge and experience in Electrical PCB/PWB layout design. This role will support ongoing programs and rapidly growing business. The prospective candidate will participate in the design of RF and high-speed digital boards, flexible circuits, and antenna boards.
The selected designer will:
Design and layout components or portions of systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve products.
Utilize computer-aided design equipment and/or graphic tools such as SolidWorks, NX or AutoCAD.
Gather information, make studies, compute calculations, and prepare original rough layouts to present design proposals.
Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups.
Handle QRC requests and understand priorities.
Layout RF and high-speed digital boards, flex circuits, and antenna boards.
Collaborate with engineers and team members for a win-win working environment.
Provide finished device approval and prepare customer application information.
Support configuration management activities.
Verify final board schematics and design for manufacturability.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related design experience or Master's degree and 7 years of related design experience.
PWB Layout tools experience.
US Citizenship is required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance (NG will sponsor).
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.
Experience with PADS VX.
Experience with DxDesigner Schematic Capture VX.
Experience with Xpedition.
Experience with AutoCAD.
Experience with CAM350.
Experience with Teamcenter or Product Data Management (PDM) system.
Self-starter and willing to learn new tools.
Salary Range:
$109,900 - $164,900
